About Human Edge
Expert judgment, made defensible.
Our mission
The gap no one was filling
Frontier AI is accelerating. The infrastructure to turn expert judgment and enterprise data into usable AI signal is not. Nobody was training them to evaluate LLMs consistently, calibrating their judgments, or producing the evidence that governance teams need to approve deployment.
Human Edge exists because bad human signal is the most expensive mistake in AI. A hallucinated legal citation or an unsafe clinical recommendation doesn't just damage trust — it generates liability, triggers rework cycles, and blocks deployment at exactly the moment momentum matters most.
We are an operating unit of Dialectica Group, built on more than a decade of institutional expert vetting, world-class enterprise clients, and the kind of sourcing infrastructure that Fortune 500 firms and global private and hedge funds rely on for their most sensitive work.
Inconsistent evaluation is a hidden tax on every iteration. When two qualified experts can’t agree on the same output, there’s no standard to stand behind — regardless of how good the model is.
When a model fails — hallucinated precedent, unsafe guidance, compliance breach — leadership asks: What was our process? That question requires evidence, not confidence.
Legal, compliance, and risk stakeholders approve evidence: provenance, audit trails, versioned standards. Without it, deployments stall or reverse after the first incident.
Differentiation
Not a staffing layer. Not a commodity labeling vendor. Judgment infrastructure that trains, governs, and calibrates the same experts who label, evaluate, and build your data.
The non-obvious truth: domain expertise is not the same as evaluator competence. The vendors that win in this space don't just find experts — they train them, calibrate them, and keep them calibrated over time.
Marketplaces
Screening is a one-time gate. It doesn't ensure consistent judgment across tasks or rubric versions. Quality is probabilistic. Governance is absent.
Annotation vendors
Generic annotation vendors run on commodity labor: in regulated domains, evaluators drift, rubrics go ungoverned, and outputs can't survive scrutiny.
Human Edge
Calibrated panels. Adjudicated disagreements. Versioned rubrics. Every engagement closes with an approval pack for Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
